About The Local Echo

The Local Echo is a local news site for Greater Vancouver, organised city by city.

Our reporting is built on public and official records: city council agendas and decisions, development and rezoning applications, building permits, municipal notices, open data and official market statistics.

Every story links to its original sources so you can check it yourself. When we draw on another outlet's reporting, we name it and link to it.
