The District of North Vancouver says Luna, a one-and-a-half-year-old Cane Corso, has been adopted. In an update dated October 1, the District said it received an adoption application and completed its due diligence to confirm it was the right fit.
Luna was found abandoned in upper Lynn Valley on September 3, undernourished and with health issues. The District said it published its shelter-care information after residents asked about her care. Bylaw staff walked, played with and fed her each day while she was in the shelter.
