Bowen Island council to hold closed meeting November 9 on labour relations

Bowen Island Municipality has given notice of a closed council meeting on Monday, November 9, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM, or immediately following the Regular Council meeting. It will be held at the Municipal Offices, 580 Bowen Island Trunk Rd.

The public will be excluded under Section 90(1)(c) of the Community Charter, which allows closed meetings for matters relating to labour relations or other employee relations. The notice was issued November 5, 2026 by Stefania Shortt, Deputy Corporate Officer.
